Two days ago, on Friday 2023-12-01, we sent out our ‘mea culpa’ email telling people about our errors to date and our plans to present our plans on 2024-01-13. The response has been as expected. 2% of members unsubscribed from the updates list, about 10% of members were generally unhappy and let us know, and the rest, ±85%-90% of members have sent in messages of support including, for many of them, confirmation that they will attend the brainstorm in January.

Overall, we’re thrilled. It means that there are a critical mass of Ham Community members who are willing to join us as we make this community something special and useful – both.

Much more to follow on the plans, for now we just wanted to let you all know that we were grateful for the support to date. Ham Community members, you rock.

Use this reporting category sparingly and only if you are quite certain that the member is being openly and hurtfully prejudiced.
