    This one is for the new hams, the getting ready to test wanna-be hams, and the hams who haven’t been on the air for whatever reason:

    This would be a good time to find a nearby club or group who are making plans for Field Day, and join in.

    If you don’t know, Field Day will be held this year on June 22 – 23. It’s a great opportunity to get to know some local hams, likely enjoy a potluck feed, watch the magic as experienced hams hang antennas and set up stations, and spend the weekend trying to contact as many other Field Day stations across the US and Canada as possible over a 24 hour period.

    Oh, and did I mention that it’s also a fantastic chance to have some ♫fun, laughs, and good times♫? (Apologies to Coleman and Fields)

Prejudices are usually harmful, leading to unfair treatment or discrimination. They are often based on stereotypes and can be about race, gender, religion, nationality, or any other distinguishing characteristic. Prejudice is more about feelings and attitudes. Ham Community does not tolerate prejudice. We are all different, that's fine. Remember, duty and honor are built on respect. Use this reporting category sparingly and only if you are quite certain that the member is being openly and hurtfully prejudiced.
