    Elecraft K3 still rocks

    No, I do not have one. But as I write in 2024, I can tell you from using it during this past Winter Field Day, that the K3 performs insanely well. I kept getting the most complimentary reports and the front end is a contester’s dream. No, it does not have a built-in waterfall. No, it’s not the ‘prettiest’ radio, but I am seriously considering getting my own K3 (obviously a used one considering it is no longer available from Elecraft). It’s compact, it has a 10:1 tuner, it has just the right combo of touch buttons and menu settings. Thanks to @kn3u for bringing his rig.
