    Wow I’ve always wondered and now I know! 3 questions…

    I have question on rule #1, “1. You can only operate in the Miami port from the ship or the waters surrounding on regular RF.” – does regular RF mean phone only as in FM or maybe SSB/AM?

    You mentioned nodes, did you bring a hotspot for digital voice modes via the internet?

    Now the most fun question… what equipment did you bring?

    I’ve really wanted to operate from one of the cruise line private islands and assumed it would just fall under the country they belong to like Bahamas or Haiti. You opened my eyes to possibilities in Mexico. I had old info that all they allowed was FM satellite usage once you bought the privilege!
