    Portable masts – from fiberglass to carbon fiber?

    My faithful Spiderbeam fiberglass mast (I have two; one of these is my 45-footer, the other is the 60-footer) holding up a, not easy to see, 80M doublet, all this from the back of the car. I admit that I am looking forward to getting myself one of the newer carbon fiber masts. Has anyone tried the DX Engineering ones? I saw them at Hamvention. They were super light, I’m just hoping they are durable.
