I want to be able to do direct connect to DStar repeaters and as well as setup the HT to go through my home internet or another internet source when a DStar repeater is not in range.</p>

When I was back there in April I did hit up the repeaters and had a few respond.  Most the time they were quiet.  Wife and I enjoyed visiting the ole stomping grounds.</p>

I have been involved with EmCom/EmComm for two decades. I have seen it both ways.  FEMA has listed it both ways too.  Depending on who you talk to at the ARRL, it has been listed both ways yet mostly as EmCom.   I usually use EmCom myself.  I am interested to hear from others and what they think and any history of&hellip;</p>
